In Chip Duncan's many years of experience as a defense trial lawyer, he as lead counsel and his team of attorneys have achieved many successes. The firm has developed a niche and expertise in litigation involving lift boats. Mr. Duncan has been lead attorney and participated in numerous trials in Louisiana district courts and federal courts involving marine/energy, transportation, toxic torts and insurance litigation. Kaye Courington has tried hundreds of claims in seven
trials in Louisiana and Mississippi, six in mass litigation
involving 10 to 129 plaintiffs at a time. In the longest
jury trial in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana history, Ms.
Courington represented half of the defendants who were
not found liable in a mass toxic tort action. In Mississippi,
she was involved in the Cosey case, trying the
case for nearly two weeks before settling on behalf of
her clients for approximately .025% of the total verdict rendered. Ms. Courington has filed amicus briefs on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States of America, the American Insurance Association, the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America, the Coalition for Litigation Justice and the American Chemistry Council.
Lance Rydberg has over 22 years of trial experience.
Mr. Rydberg has tried dozens of cases in state and
federal court throughout Louisiana, which involved offshore
casualties, refinery explosions, automobile/truck accidents,
aircraft accidents, public procurement, asbestos exposure,
railroad liability and workmen's compensation.
