Louis O. Oubre is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar, the United States District Court,
Eastern, Middle and Western Districts and the United States Court of Appeals
for the Fifth Circuit in 1988. He received his education from Nicholls State
University (B.A., cum laude, 1985) and after working eight years in classical
radio and with the United States Department of the Treasury's Internal Revenue
Service and Customs Service attended Loyola University and received his Juris
Doctorate in 1997. He is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association, Jefferson
Parish Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association,
Fifth Circuit Federal Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association.
