Sanda Beach Groome was born in Greenville, Mississippi on February 8, 1964. She was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1994, and the U.S. District Court, Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana. She received her education from H. Sophie Newcomb Memorial College (B.A., 1986), Tulane University (M.B.A., 1990), Fac de Droit d'Aix, Provence, France, and Louisiana State University (J.D., 1994). She is a member of the New Orleans, Louisiana State, Federal and American Bar Associations, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, and the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Tulane Association of Business Alumni and the Tulane Alumni Association. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of the New Orleans Museum of Art.
