The mandatory evacuation of New Orleans and the surrounding parishes has been lifted and we have returned to our office at 400 Poydras Street in New Orleans.  The office is open and we are fully functional.  Thank you for all of your support.

* Hurricane Gustav Update *

We are coordinating the return of our servers and personnel to New Orleans.  We anticipate having our email and network restored and fully opertional by Friday morning, September 5.   In the meantime, the firm can be reached by emailing Kelley_Sevin@hotmail.com or chipduncan@hotmail.com.  

We can also be reached by dialing our main number (504.524.5566).  Our new automated telephone system and answering service is available 24 hours a day.  The system is programmed to locate attorneys and employees, even in an evacuation situation.  If the system is unable to locate the employee, you can leave a voicemail message that will be forwarded to their alternate email address.

Our fax lines are operational, but should you have difficulty sending a fax by dialing our local fax number, you can also send a fax to our toll-free emergency fax number at 866.758.6485.

At this time, the office will remain closed on Wednesday, September 3 and Thursday, September 4.

Due to the potential threat of Hurricane Gustav to the Louisiana coast and possibly New Orleans, New Orleans is under a mandatory evacuation.  Therefore, we are evacuating our personnel and servers to a safer location.   Our email will be down for at least 48 hours.  In the meantime, you can reach us by emailing Kelley_Sevin@hotmail.com or chipduncan@hotmail.com.  If our email is out for a significant period of time, we will update this page with additional, individual contact information.  Please check this page periodically for updates.

*** SEPTEMBER 22, 2006 ***

Due to a fire in our building at 400 Poydras Street on September 21, 2006 (which, fortunately, did not affect our 12th floor offices), we will be without basic services for a few days. Because of the loss of electricity, our email servers and phone lines are down through the weekend. Services were restored by Monday morning, September 25th.

If you need to contact someone at the firm, please call our office manager, Dianne Klibert, at 504.913.3787 and she will assist you with obtaining a phone number or alternate email address for the attorney you are trying to reach.

If an evacuation of New Orleans due to a hurricane or tropical storm threat becomes necessary, we will make every effort to keep our regular phone numbers and email addresses working.

In the event of an another actual storm/evacuation like Hurricane Katrina, this page will be updated with additional contact information, including mobile phone numbers, location of attorneys and staff, and alternate email addresses.
